SketchUp Beginner Course 
Getting Started with SketchUp Pro for Mac and PC

Join me online for three engaging sessions designed to start your journey with SketchUp Pro, tailored specifically for interior design. This course will cover everything from installation to mastering the essential skills needed to begin 3D modelling in SketchUp.

COURSE OUTLINE

Session 1: Installation and Introduction
- Assistance with installing or updating SketchUp Pro on your Mac or PC
- Opening and starting up SketchUp
- Introduction to SketchUp Pro
- Overview of the SketchUp fundamentals

Session 2: Exploring the Interface and Tools
- Learning the interface layout
- Familiarising yourself with the toolset and drawing tools
- Mastering basic functions

Session 3: Basic Functions and 3D Modeling
- Navigating within SketchUp
- Starting to draw and create 3D models
- Introduction to the next steps on your 3D modelling journey

By the end of this course, you will have a good foundation in SketchUp Pro and be able to start drawing a floor plan, a 3D model of a room, and downloading pre-made content from 3D Warehouse.

Anyone considering SketchUp Pro and wants to start learning how to create 3D models on a computer, at any age and entry-level, for personal or professional reasons.

COURSE OPTIONS

Option 1. Private Online Course
For one participant or small design teams with 2-3 participants.
The course sessions can be scheduled on any day, time, or time zone suitable for you.
We will meet online three times for 1-hour training and Q&A - each time.

Option 2. Live online group course
Tickets for a group of like-minded interior designers, architects, and planners.
We meet online three times on Tuesday, Thursday, and the following Tuesday. Each time from 4.30 pm - 5.40 pm (BST)
The next course dates are 12, 14, and 19 November 2024. The group course ticket price includes all three training sessions.

REQUIREMENTS

Essential for taking this course:
- Know how to use a computer, Mac or PC.
- Have access to a laptop or desktop computer to practice and communicate with me.
- You can use Zoom via the app or the web version. This is how we will communicate the training content and share our screens.
- Have SketchUp Pro or the Trail version downloaded from SketchUp™.

Prior SketchUp experience is not necessary.

Please note: These training sessions are not for SketchUp for iPad or the SketchUp Go web version.

VALUE & PRICING
Three online sessions, 60 minutes each + 10 additional minutes after each session to answer your questions.
We will record each session. After each training, I provide a link to the recording for further practice and a recap. You can revisit the videos for six months after the last session.
