Achieving a positive outcome for all my participants is of great importance to me. Most of them remain in contact with me; they occasionally reach out with questions or share updates on their work. Should you have any follow-up questions regarding the content of our workshops, please feel free to send me an email or give me a call. I am always available to answer your questions and address any concerns you may have.

However, it is not possible to turn a 5- or 10-hour training program into a month-long course. What can be achieved in 5 or 10 hours is inevitably limited.

You will develop a solid understanding of how to work with SketchUp and be able to create 3D models on your computer. You will gain confidence in 3D modeling – and have fun in the process. Many of my participants go on to book additional sessions, whether online or in person. It all depends on what you would like to achieve. It is much like learning to play the piano: to become truly proficient, you need to practice a great deal – ideally, every single day.

I aim to provide you with all the relevant SketchUp knowledge for your individual needs. However, my professional life is all about Interior Design and visual storytelling - and that for a very long time. Therefore, if it fits in a tutorial session or training day, I am more than happy to share my experiences, processes, and preferred hardware and software choices with you.
I also teach about SketchUp-related plugins, such as the Enscape real-time render program, Layout, the SketchUp companion program, and other relevant SketchUp plugins for Interior Designers.

I currently don’t teach any other CAD or architectural design programs. I focus purely on extracting the maximum out of SketchUp for professional use as an Interior Designer. Furthermore, I am a strong believer that SketchUp Pro and SketchUp Layout are the only two applications you will ever need in a small to medium-sized Interior Design business environment. From initial concept work to elaborate client presentations to project documents for the building trade, you can do almost anything with SketchUp.

Personally, no other 3D design tool would allow me to produce the large number of 3D drawings and 3D models each year the way SketchUp does. SketchUp is my creative tool of choice, and you should consider it, too.

However, as in other aspects of life, SketchUp is just a tool. Ultimately, what you create with it is crucial. An expensive camera does not make you a good photographer. The same applies to the hardware and software you use in your professional life.

Nevertheless, I am closely observing the ever-evolving digital design and drawing tools market. I am visiting trade-shows and testing other software and AI options for our industry. So far, nothing has convinced me to move away from SketchUp or to switch. Having said that, SketchUp is by no means perfect. There is plenty of room for improvement. I have a long wish-list that I would like to see implemented sooner rather than later.
